Open Counter Strike, and preferably be connected to a server so that you can test it.
Open the console. This is typically done by pressing the tilde (~) key on the keyboard
Once the console is open, type inhud_fastswitch "1" with or with out the quotes either way it should work. Press enter to accept. It is now setup.
Test it by pressing 1 and then 2 and back to 1 - if it switches immediately then its enabled. If not, go back and try without the quotes.
