1. Exclusive search w/in a SITE [site]

>> This command helps you search exclusively a keyword w/in a site
>> It can be also used in case a certain site doesnt have a search engine

Code:
<search keyword> site:<site url>

SAMPLE:

google site:mzoneph.cz.cc

--this will search for 'google' tags at mzoneph.cz.cc
2. Exclusive URL search [inurl]

>> This searches the URL of the site, RATHER THAN ITS CONTENTS

Code:
inurl:<url search keyword>

SAMPLE:

inurl:mzone

--this will search for 'mzone' related url

*this can be also used in conjunction w/ other searches*

Code:
<search keyword> inurl:<url search keyword>

SAMPLE:

google inurl:mzone

--searches for url containing mzone and for text containing 'google

*Another related command is the [allinurl] cmd. It allows user to search for more than 1 word in a url*

SAMPLE:

inurl:mzone ph

--behaves like the example above

allinurl:mzone

--searches for both 'mzone' and 'ph' in a url

3. ACTUAL CONTENT Search (not tags) [intext]

>> This command searches the actual text of a website rather than its tags.

It can get annoying when you search for a word/phrase - find a promising website - then find out that what you searched for is not actually on the site. The intext command solves this.

Code:
intext:<search keyword>

SAMPLE:

intext:PC tutorials

-- will search for 'PC Tutorials' in a site's actual text content

google intext:PC tutorials

--this will search for 'google' keywords at the same time searches for PC Tutorial in text contents

The related [allintext] works in the same way as allinurl.
4. FILETYPE Search [filetype]

>> You can also use google to search for a specific filetype.

Code:
<search keyword> filetype: <file extension>

*file extension does NOT require dot (.) prefix

SAMPLE:

Opera filetype:sis

--this will search for 'opera' in symbian (.sis) format
OTHER USEFUL CMDS
1. [-]

>> Exclusive CONTEXT Search

SAMPLE

Let's say that you want tosearch for 'Transformers' in ELECTRICAL terms. Many sites about the 'Transformers' movie will have the word "autobots" in them. So search for

Code:
Transformers -autobots

-- This will search for Transformers in electrical context and not the movie
2. [~]

>> Including a tilde in front of a word searches for that word and its synonyms.

SAMPLE:

Code:
~angry

--will search for angry, mad, furious, etc.
3. [..]

>> Searches for RANGES

SAMPLE:

Code:
Naruto Shipuuden 143..168

-- This will search for naruto episodes from ch 143 until 168
4. Quotes

>> The simplest advanced command is the quotation. Google's engine typically ignores word order. Searching for
Code:
X Y Z A B
will return about the same results as
Code:
Y B Z C X A
.

The results will be slightly different because of how google searches its servers, but it will still look for sites containing these elements REGARDLESS OF ORDER.

>> Entering
Code:
"X Y Z A B C"
will search only for sites containing the string X Y Z A B C , with all elements included, IN THAT ORDER, one after the other.
